This course covers best practice for Assessment.  It is the first section of the complete Assessment and Moderation course.

Parts A and B of this course cover the learning required for three Unit Standards in the Assessment of Learning domain; a total of 11 credits at level 4. These are: 'Preparing Candidates for Assessment' (US 11281), 'Verify Evidence for the Assessment of Candidates' (US 18203), and  'Assessing Candidates' (US 4098). 

This course covers best practice for Assessment and Moderation. 

This section (Part C) covers the knowledge required for US 11552, 'Design Assessment', which is valued at 6 credits at level 5 on the NQF.

Part D covers 'Moderate Assessments', (US 11551), which is also valued at 6 credits at level 5 on the NQF.  Additional assessment materials for practitioners who wish to sit US11280, 'Manage the Assessment Process for an Organisation' (9 credits at level 6) are also available but are not included in this course.  Contact us for more information about this 'advanced level' option.
